Inside: the villa is on two floors. The entrance is on the upper floor, which features an open plan living room and kitchen leading onto panoramic covered terraces perfect for al fresco eating around the large dining table, or relaxing in the comfortable outdoor seating area. Also on the upper floor is the master bedroom with its ensuite bathroom and a picture window with views over the pool and the sea, and a twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom. Downstairs is very large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and smaller double and twin rooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. Also on the lower floor you will find a kitchen and dining area, offering independence if required. The house is bright and spacious throughout.
Outside: access to the villa is via an automatic gate on a quiet residential road, and the private parking is a short drive down a private drive. The villa is then reached on foot by descending a short path with about a dozen steps. The villa is set in a superbly designed and well-kept garden of Mediterranean plants and attractive stonework, and the spectacular pool is in pride of place overlooking the sea. At the bottom of the garden, a gate takes you out onto a path leading down a few metres through the rocks to the sea, where a sun umbrella may be placed. Beautiful sea swimming is a delight when the water is calm, and when it’s rougher you’ll have the pool, or a short drive to some great beaches. Thanks to the cleanliness of its waters and the quality of its lidos, Castro and its surrounding area was awarded a Blue Flag in both 2009 and 2010.

A wonderful home equally suited for a romantic break or a family holiday, or anything in between! The swimming pool area is a little overlooked by a neighbouring house which, however, is only occasionally used by an old lady.
