Inside: accommodation at Rosa Marina is all on the ground floor. One enters a large panoramic living area, with two huge glazed arched windows accessing the terrace and gardens and offering views out to sea, an equally panoramic dining area, also accessing the surrounding gardens, a fully-equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom. The dividing the wall between the living and dining areas has a double-fronted fireplace, which serves both rooms (handy if you're coming out of season). The sleeping quarters comprise three double bedrooms, each with its own modern en-suite bathroom, French windows accessing the gardens and flat-screen TV. One has its own fireplace.
Outside: Rosa Marina is surrounded on all sides by gardens and terraces. To the front of the house is a large furnished terrace, ideal for reclining in the sun or dining al fresco with the sea as your companion. The terraces give way to lawns, dotted with succulent Mediterranean plants, shrubs and trees. A path heads down to the beach gate, outside which is your very own area of private beach and the sea beyond! To the rear of the property is a covered, fully-furnished outdoor living area. An external flight of stairs leads from the gardens up to the panoramic roof terrace, which boasts fabulous views of the dunes, beaches and sparkling Adriatic Sea... the perfect spot for an evening aperitif... which you can send up from the kitchen using the dumb waiter!
The village: Rosa Marina is set within an exclusive holiday village of private beach-front homes, owned by wealthy Puglians and a few fortunate foreigners! It is extremely well-maintained and managed and, besides several km of prime sandy beach, offers a variety of amenities, including beach-cleaning, lidos, restaurants (one of which is just a short stroll away along the beach), bars, a tennis court, a children's playground, a chemist's, a few food shops and more (open from mid-June to mid-September).
