About the Property

Inside: Trullo Cutetto is simple, stylish and essential. It consists of the three volumes of the original trulli, which have been faithfully restored using traditional techniques and workmanship. The interiors have been whitewashed in the traditional style. The entrance is into the central trullo, through the original wooden door which has been beautifully restored. This central trullo features a low dining table and chairs. To the left is the bedroom, and to the right the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom features a suspended bed (Fluttua by Lago Design), an LCD TV on the wall, and iPod docking station in a recess in the wall. Lighting in the living area and bedroom are important design pieces by Ingo Maurer and Peppino Campanella. To the other side of the living area is the kitchen and bathroom. This trullo has been split in half, one dedicated to a wet room with large shower, the other to a kitchen area with induction hob, microwave, sink and storage. The cooking facilities, although technologically advanced, may be described as "very simple", but with a barbecue outside and a restaurant a short stroll down the lane, they may well be all you'll need.

Outside: Trullo Cutetto is situated at the end of a country lane and backs onto a private wood. The views are of countryside speckled with the odd trullo cone. The garden has been beautifully designed with fruit trees, and a tear drop shaped pool nestles invitingly just a few metres from the trulli. Just in front of the entrance is a terrace which is perfect for dining with a view of the countryside. A walk of a couple of hundred metres up the country path takes you to a spectacular viewpoint from which you will look down from your hilltop vantage point on vast areas of olive groves reaching as far as the sandy beaches of the Adriatic.

Think About

This is a house for those who adhere to the maxim: "luxury is stylish simplicity!"

The Area

Exploring the local Area

Trullo Cutetto is set in the heart of the Valle d'Itria, about 10 minutes drive from the charming town of Cisternino. The geography and views in and of this area are what many consider to be the "typical" Puglia. Rolling hills, groves of centuries old olive trees, trullo cones everywhere you look, whitewashed towns bleached further by the southern italian sun.
But Trullo Cutetto is also excellently placed for sealovers: a drive of about 20 minutes will take you to a long sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast, where you can either pitch up where you find a space, or check in at the stylish Coccaro Beach Club Lido, to which Think Puglia clients enjoy privileged access.
Towns not to miss in the vicinity include Ostuni, the whitest of all the whitewashed towns nearby, Locorotondo (literally the round place) and Alberobello (where you will see enough trulli to last a lifetime).
