Villa Mirabella - villa with pool near Ostuni, Puglia

Inside: the interiors of Villa Mirabella are stylish and contemporary. The house, based around an original lamia farm building, is glazed around the whole front section ensuring superb illumination and seamless communication between inside and the pool and terraces outside. The open-plan living area is practically and comfortably laid out, with the kitchen on one side and the living and dining areas on the other. The kitchen is superbly equipped and user-friendly, the dining table seats 10 comfortably, and the sitting area features an excellent entertainment system to keep everyone amused! The glazing incorporates state-of-the-art sun-filter blinds that offer perfect shade for the interiors whilst allowing those inside to keep an eye on what's going on in the pool.
The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms are to the rear of the living area. The master double bedroom and the twin have an en-suite bathroom and shower room respectively, whereas the second double room and a room with a French bed (a small double) and a single sofa bed, share a shower room situated between them. There is also a guest bathroom with a shower.

Outside: the outside areas at Villa Mirabella revolve around the superb, 20-metre beach-style pool, which is great for kids, great for swimming laps, and great for just floating around admiring the surrounding olive groves and enjoying the peace and quiet of the Puglian countryside. Beside the pool is a large, shady gazebo for those long lazy lunches, while the wood-fired pizza oven and outside barbeque and kitchen area open all sorts of possibilities for creative cooking (we can, for example, organise for a pizza chef to come in one evening). All this is surrounded by extensive gardens with a large range of aromatic Mediterranean plants and, beyond the low white stone walls, acres and acres of olive groves. At night, the exteriors of the villa and its grounds can be illuminated with a sophisticated and warm LED lighting system.
